Slow Learners

August is a big recruiting month for fall registration at New College. At the July 25 open house, 50 prospective students were met outside with information packets provided by students and alumni/ae. Much of the information contained in it was downloaded from the alumni/ae website SSOS. Most of the documents cited in the July 31 San Francisco Chronicle A-1 above-the-fold article about New College corruption came from SSOS as well.

Last night, at the August 14 open house, 1 prospective student showed up for the wine and cheese affair. Maybe by Labor Day the elusive trustees will get the message.
