Wrong Kind of Green looks at The Revolution Will Not Be Funded, a collection of essays about the Non-Profit Industrial Complex. In another post on the topic, Michel Chossudovsky explores the hidden dimensions of state control of social movements, and how the non-profit industry collaborates with the state “to prevent the protest movement from challenging the legitimacy of the economic elites.”

In yet another article, Wrong Kind of Green examines how state-approved NGOs are used to eclipse authentic activists so that media focuses on what Tom Goldtooth callsĀ  “the type of voices that don’t engage, in a threatening way, the realities of capitalism.”
