Infuriating Interior

To answer the question why there are so many crooks in Congress, one need only refer to the quaint quote about bandits and banks–“It’s where the money is.” But when it comes to felons in the Department of Interior, as Wampum so wonderfully illustrates, it’s where the money isn’t. The revolving door there between industry and the Mineral Management Service is meant to ensure that royalties due the U.S. Treasury stay out of public coffers.
