Hippie Renaissance

I have surprisingly encountered a hippie renaissance in both my age group (original hippies) and twenty somethings. Forty somethings are curious, but understandably came of age in the awful Reagan years. It would seem the task before us is to create social venues for this cultural revitalization.

  1. For what it’s worth, there were a few of us forty somethings who managed to groove on the hippie vibe – even during the age of Raygun. I was probably more affiliated with peace punks back in the 1980s, but we seemed to have in terms of attitude, values, and even appearance a lot in common with the hippies of the previous generation. 🙂

  2. Glad to hear it. Thanks for letting me know.
