Cry Wolf

Seeing how the arms industry still owns major media in the US, it is only a matter of time before they concoct another bogus National Security threat. Raytheon, Boeing and Lockheed Martin cannot prosper without massive bloodshed, and no Congressman on their payroll will dare to cry foul when talking heads cry wolf.

Lying the American people into war has always worked, and always will, until a level of political literacy is achieved to shield them from fraud.

We are unfortunately a long way from accomplishing that objective, and given this scenario, Obama’s decision to ramp up violence in the hornet’s nest of Pakistan may have preempted the need for inventing a new bogeyman. All US media needs to do is recycle the Bush/Cheney GWOT hooplah; Americans will eat it up.
