A Tenuous Situation

One obstacle in the process of being surmounted through indigenous netwar is the notion of the overlay of states comprising governments with legitimacy to decide on behalf of indigenous societies. As will be forcefully presented in the coming UN talks on climate change and elsewhere, they already have their own governments.

The imminent escalation of Plan Colombia by the Obama regime, however, means there may be no plaintiffs left alive for defendants like Chevron to pay. A tenuous situation to say the least.

When the moral sanction of indigenous netwar eclipses the flak of their enemies, then we can focus on something more substantive than spectacle.
